Floating Sound Bath at the Rowing Dock

Early Birds in the Garden
Join Travis Audubon and Zilker Botanical Garden Conservancy experts on a morning hike throughout the Garden observing the birds and the plants they interact with. Bring your water, walking shoes, binoculars, and cameras for this guided adventure with tour leaders from both organizations.
Enter through the Main Gate at 2220 Barton Springs Rd and meet at the Flag Pole at 7:30 am.
Registration includes general admission to the Garden. After the program, we invite you to enjoy the Garden at your leisure. Advance registration is required.
Free for members of the Conservancy and Travis Audubon (with code). ZBGC members please log in when registering to receive free registration. Travis Audubon members apply your discount code at checkout. If you have not received a code, notify Travis Audubon leadership.

Ace Pot
The ace pot starts at $100! If there are no aces, it will be added to the next Austin Am Series event. There as optional $5/player entry fee for the Ace Pot.

We will have CTP prizes on a bunch of the holes! CTP prizes can be picked up at the end of the event or at Another Round Austin after the event. We will have CTPs on the following holes:
Urban Scavenger Hunt
Get ready to explore, compete, and have a blast at the Wonders & Worries Urban Scavenger Hunt! Teams will race through the city solving clues, tackling challenges, and discovering hidden spots—all while supporting kids whose parents are facing a serious illness or injury. Gather your friends and join the adventure!
9:30am – Check-in & coffee at Zilker Lodge
10:00am to 12:00pm – Clues go live! Hit the streets of Austin to solve challenges, perform good deeds, and collect points.
12:00pm to 2:00pm – Head back to Zilker for our after-party with lunch, raffle, prizes, and plenty of laughter! Register here:
Rowing Dock's Earth Day Clean Up
CELEBRATE EARTH WEEK WITH US!
Join us on Friday, April 24, 2026 for our fifth annual community wide Earth Day clean up and fundraiser along Lady Bird Lake! Volunteers will have the option to launch from one of three locations: Rowing Dock (West end), Epic SUP (East end), and on the trail at Auditorium Shores. From there, you'll select whether you would like to pick up trash by boat or by walking trails along the river. This event is free for all community volunteers, with advance registration required.
There is a small participation fee of $15/person required for corporate teams. All funds raised from this event will go to The Trail Conservancy, the local nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, enhancing, and connecting the Ann & Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail for the benefit of all. Earth Day at Zilker Botanical Garden
Celebrate Earth Day with us on April 22 with an afternoon of hands-on activities and nature-inspired fun! Today only, enjoy Earth Day activities including seed ball making and a microgreens activity, perfect for all ages.
From 5:00 to 7:00 PM, join our community Plant Swap where you can exchange plants + gardening supplies, plus take part in special plant giveaways. Can’t wait to see you in the Garden to celebrate Mother Earth!

Birdathon by Travis Audubon and Zilker Botanical Garden
Spring migration is underway for many bird species, and this Birdathon walk with Travis Audubon – and ZBGC Education Coordinator Janie Trevino – is your chance to spot migratory birds as well as year-round residents. Nearly 150 species of birds have been spotted at Zilker Botanical Garden, and past visitors have seen Yellow-rumped Warblers, Cliff Swallows, and Carolina Wrens (Travis Audubon’s Bird of the Year!) this time of year. All levels of birders are encouraged to attend, including beginners. Bring your water, walking shoes, binoculars, and camera.
This walk is $35 per person, with a maximum of 15 people. Trip fees support Travis Audubon’s year-round educational programming as well as its three nature preserves in the Austin area. Registration includes general admission to the garden. Register on Travis Audubon’s website.
Austin Samba Presents 25 years of Samba
Austin Samba and its guest performers bring the energy, joy, colors, and rhythms of Brazil to celebrate “25 Years of Austin Samba: Honoring Jacaré’s Legacy.” Founded by Robert Patterson, also known as Jacaré, Austin Samba began with a bold vision to plant the heartbeat of Brazilian samba in Central Texas and build a community rooted in rhythm, culture, and connection. Come experience the music and dance that grew from the history of love, strength, and perseverance of the community. Austin Samba showcases percussion from different regions of Brazil alongside the grace and power of dance, inviting their community to become part of the experience!

If Plants Could Talk is a “just for fun” presentation where Reeve will reveal aspects of Texas plants, you probably never knew. He has a wonderful collection of award-winning slides. From our tiniest grasses to our majestic trees, our guest speaker, Reeve, will dispel some old myths and share some interesting and often historical or botanical facts about them. Example: Did you know that one of our favorite spring wildflowers is a parasite? You’ll just want to hear firsthand what all the Texas plants have to say.
