Birdathon by Travis Audubon and Zilker Botanical Garden

Spring migration is underway for many bird species, and this Birdathon walk with Travis Audubon – and ZBGC Education Coordinator Janie Trevino – is your chance to spot migratory birds as well as year-round residents. Nearly 150 species of birds have been spotted at Zilker Botanical Garden, and past visitors have seen Yellow-rumped Warblers, Cliff Swallows, and Carolina Wrens (Travis Audubon’s Bird of the Year!) this time of year. All levels of birders are encouraged to attend, including beginners. Bring your water, walking shoes, binoculars, and camera.

This walk is $35 per person, with a maximum of 15 people. Trip fees support Travis Audubon’s year-round educational programming as well as its three nature preserves in the Austin area. Registration includes general admission to the garden. Register on Travis Audubon’s website.
