Speaker Bio: Virginia Craig is our guest speaker. She grew up in a military family where dinner was always a formal affair. More information from Virginia – My mother had beautiful China dishes for our everyday meals and other beautiful China dishes for special occasions. I learned my love of beautiful tables from her. As the years went by, I found myself increasing the elements on the table such as flowers, chargers, mixing my stack, and adding stemware. Then came more elements as I added table runners, placemats on top of beautiful tablecloths, coordinating cloth napkins, mixing and coordinating colors and adding little nick-nacks as part of the centerpiece. At this point, my tablescapes would not pass the muster for a State Dinner but without doubt, dining worthy for my wonderful friends.
